Background
NUSgradr was created because I wanted to know how I had really performed in a particular semester. We all have had this feeling before. Perhaps you thought you did well in a semester, but yet, your CAP only increased by a little. NUSgradr lets you view at a glance how well you performed each semester, and your CAP is relation to that.
You can also use NUSgradr to perform a What-If Analysis, to answer questions like, "What if I S/U this module?" or "What if I got such-and-such grades this semester? How would they affect my CAP?".
Technical Details
NUSgradr was built on the CodeIgniter PHP framework, using MySQL as the backend. Graphs are generated using jpGraph, a PHP object-oriented graphing library. The application took about three weeks from conceptualisation to going "live". Actual coding took place over five days. Design template taken from Open Source Web Design.
